Rob Parsons, owner of Sky Meadow Country Club in Nashua, New Hampshire, strongly condemned the gunman who opened fire during a wedding, calling him a “coward” and saying the act will not define the community.
The tragedy occurred on the night of September 20, when 23-year-old Hunter Nadeau allegedly stormed the club, reportedly shouting “Free Palestine” before firing into a crowd of more than 100 guests. The attack killed 59-year-old Robert DeCesare, who was dining with his wife and daughter, and wounded two others.
During courtroom proceedings, Parsons read a statement from DeCesare’s wife, Charlene, who declared she would remain in Sky Meadow despite the trauma: “This is my home … and I’m staying.” She also expressed gratitude for the shelter and support offered by neighbors and fellow club members.
Authorities confirmed DeCesare died from multiple gunshot wounds. The suspect faces a count of second-degree murder, with additional charges expected following further victim interviews. Local officials are investigating the case, seeking clarity on motive and connections.
