Before we start the story, I’d like to take a minute to let you know exactly who David Hogg is.
First of all, he isn’t a survivor. He wasn’t in the same building where the shooting took place. He was on campus, just not in the building where the shooting took place.
His mother is a virulent Trump hater who posted the following on her Facebook prior to the shooting:
“I can’t be silent anymore. I tried to be respectful during the elections. I can’t sit by and do nothing with what is going on currently in the USA. It’s horrifying. If you like what Trump is currently doing please unfriendly or block me because you won’t like what I am going to begin posting.”
Rebecca Boldrick, Hogg’s mom is a school teacher in the Broward County School System. David grew up suffering from dyslexia and ADHD which he claims is fully under control.
Hogg went into a profanity-laced diatribe which has now been taken down from YouTube to protect their valuable propaganda tool.

“What type of s***ty person does that?” Hogg continued. “They could have blood from children splattered all over their faces and they wouldn’t take action because they all still see these dollar signs.”
Hogg said he is going to make sure that “those f***ers aren’t getting reelected.”
Hogg said he does not want more school security because “We’re going to create a system where we widen the school-to-prison pipeline.” This notion of there being a “school-to-prison pipeline” has been thoroughly debunked.
Hogg said it is his job to fix America because “our parents don’t know how to use a f***ing democracy, so we have to.”
Yet, when he was asked what ideas he is coming up with for policies, Hogg replied: “I shouldn’t have to! I’m 17.”
Hogg also claimed that he does not want to ban any type of firearm or firearm accessories, he just wants to make it harder for people to have guns.
Where do I begin? He claims the NRA has blood on their hands because they want to make money on gun sales. The NRA doesn’t sell guns. The extra money comes from membership fees. The increase in their income comes from new memberships and upgrades which have spiked since Hogg started spouting off.
Here is the biggie. Hogg says he doesn’t want more security in the schools because he wants to widen the school to prison pipeline. The link provided shows several studies that no such pipeline exists. It should also be pointed out that the Parkland school was part of an Obama initiative to stop charging students with serious crimes and to let the school mete out the punishment.
The problem with that is without a record of the crime the offending student would still be able to buy a gun. One student at Parkland was saved from serious charges a couple of times by this policy. His name is Nikolas Cruz.
But more importantly, the recent shooting in the Maryland school shows what happens when you have an armed guard ready to take action and save lives. If they had a school resource officer who wasn’t afraid at Parkland, the number of dead could be much lower.
Hogg claims it’s his job to fix the country. I’d be willing to bet he couldn’t fix a sandwich.
