There is good news for all you Laura Ingraham fans out there. Fox News has issued a statement in support of her and their refusal to be intimidated by a young kid sponsored by George Soros.
The left was gloating and remarking that Fox wouldn’t dare bring her back. No word on whether Hogg will seek medical attention for his bruised ego.
The statement was reported by the Los Angeles Times.
“We cannot and will not allow voices to be censored by agenda-driven intimidation efforts,” Jack Abernethy, co-president of Fox News, said in a statement to the Los Angeles Times.
“We look forward to having Laura Ingraham back hosting her program next Monday when she returns from spring vacation with her children.”
“We cannot and will not allow voices to be censored by agenda-driven intimidation efforts,” Fox News co-president Jack Abernathy said in a statement to The Daily Caller News Foundation. “We look forward to having Laura Ingraham back, hosting her program next Monday when she returns from spring vacation with her children.”
Parkland high school student and gun control activist David Hogg called for an advertiser boycott after Ingraham knocked him on Twitter for complaining about colleges that rejected his applications.
Ingraham apologized to Hogg on March 29, but he refused to accept the peace offering.
The liberal high school student teamed up with left-wing activist group Media Matters to pressure Ingraham’s advertisers into boycotting her show, “Ingraham Angle.” Over a dozen advertisers pulled their ads from her show.
David Hogg has been gloating thinking he had forced her off the air, but he obviously thought he was dealing with middle school children and not adults that he can’t intimidate. It doesn’t hurt that anyone who cancels from Fox is banning the highest rated station in cable news.
Fox should have no problem lining up new sponsors who want to reach millions of people with their ads.
