According to Konst, during their 10-month bond, de Blasio discussed plans for having children, only to end their relationship when he began seeing Roxanna Valenzuela, a mayor from South Tucson.
Konst described the breakup as painful and chaotic, calling Valenzuela “vapid” and labeling de Blasio’s behavior as rooted in a “fear of intimacy.” She claims she even reached out to Valenzuela personally, imploring her to end the emerging affair — a plea she says was ignored.
