The DNC has made a major faux pas when they filed their lawsuit claiming that there was collusion between the Trump campaign and Russia was a huge mistake. Because of that suit, Republicans can now depose Hillary Clinton, under oath, on tape, and without softball questions.
The same can be said for Debbie Wasserman Schultz and several other DNC officials as well as any Democrat who claimed there was evidence of collusion. It’s one thing to make those accusations on TV and an entirely different matter in a deposition and under oath.
With all this discovery out there, why would the DNC go to court. I don’t believe they will. I think this is all a scam to get Democrats to pony up for the DNC, thinking the money is going for the lawsuit. But it won’t.
The Democrats have crossed the red line in the sand The DNC is 6 million dollars in debt and if they don’t start raising money they will be in deep crap. The Republicans are enjoying record-breaking fundraising while the Democrats are only getting table scraps.
Look for the Democrats to drop the suit. Which will be determined by how much money is being donated to the DNC.

PBS’ “NewsHour” interviewed a senior fellow at the liberal Brookings Institution and headlined the piece, “How the DNC Lawsuit Could Become a Powerful Tool.”
But conservative radio host Mark Simone is raising another possibility, and it’s one that could make any DNC lawsuit over the 2016 elections very uncomfortable for the party and its leaders.
“Of course the DNC lawsuit against Trump, Russia and Wikileaks was just a cheap Stormy Daniels PR stunt, but major Dems are furious at the DNC,” Simone wrote. “This lawsuit would allow Trump to do discovery, to depose and put under oath Hillary, Debbie Wasserman Schultz, Obama and others.”
