Actor James Woods has threatened to sue the Democratic National Committee after Elon Musk’s startling allegations about Twitter’s interference in the 2020 election by burying the Hunter Biden scandal.
According to tweets obtained by investigative journalist Matt Taibbi, the DNC requested that Twitter remove Woods’s account and that others who publicly disagree with the Left’s radical agenda.
After the New York Post’s investigation into the Hunter Biden laptop scandal was revealed on October 14, 2020, Woods took part in the expose.
Woods tweeted an image of Biden engaged in what appear to be sexual behaviors while high on narcotics, with the caption “I’m On Team Toe!” Don’t let your feet give out on me now!” a reference to the “I’m On Team Joe!” slogan used by then-vice presidential candidate Joe Biden.
The DNC didn’t appreciate Woods’s short rants against their party, so they banned him from using Twitter for two years.
In an interview with Fox News, Woods described his initial reaction as being “shocked the way any other American would be if he were a target of a presidential candidate and a major political party.” They ruined my professional reputation. My income is gone because of them. They have shattered the faith I had in the country my ancestors have served to defend since the Revolutionary War.
Then, Woods reiterated his intention to sue the DNC for breaching his First Amendment rights.
I can promise you more than anything else you’ll ever hear: I’m hiring a lawyer. Woods added, “Win or lose, and I will be suing the Democratic National Committee,” emphasizing his commitment to standing up for every American.
Woods says he will keep fighting and expresses optimism that others would join him in suing the DNC.
I refuse to be silent about this. If you scratch a liberal, you’ll find a fascist every time, Woods remarked, adding, “I think these individuals are pests for doing this to other people.”
