The report issued by the committee on January 6 was “totally disproven,” as the President put it.
According to this argument, law enforcement should take action in response to the video Tucker Carlson aired.
Hello, I’m DAVID MARCUS. In their history, the left has never cared about correctness. They are motivated solely by retribution.
Because they “knowingly refused” to share the footage of the Capitol riot that Tucker Carlson displayed, President Trump has demanded that the members of the January 6 committee be punished with treason.
The former president claimed that the newly revealed material “absolutely embarrassed” the Democratic-led panel.
Fox News anchor afterward aired a video in which he demanded the immediate release of all detainees and suspects detained in connection with the January 6 incidents. On Wednesday, he made good on his word and used Truth Social to make his expectations clear.
As a result of being singled out for wearing a “Make America Great Again” (MAGA) hat during the riots, one Capitol police officer was interrogated; nonetheless, he ultimately decided to resign from his position since he didn’t feel he had a future with the department.
Speaker of the House Kevin McCarthy said the decision to let Tucker Carlson access the Capitol’s 40,000 hours of surveillance film was taken in the interest of transparency.
Trump lauded Carlson’s program in a tweet he posted late Tuesday night.
It was discovered that the Unselect Committee was a network of political “hackers” and “thug” operations.
The most crucial clips were purposefully cut short. Everyone detained unlawfully must be released immediately, and those responsible must stand trial for fraud and treason.
Treason in the United States has a mandatory minimum punishment of five years in prison and a possible maximum sentence of the death penalty.
Anybody who “owes loyalty to the United States” but “makes war against them or stays with their enemies, giving them aid and comfort in the United States or elsewhere” is guilty of treason and subject to the death sentence, five years in prison, or a fine of at least $10,000. It’s also illegal for them to seek election to any position in the United States.
As Carlson stated on Monday, the films proved the demonstrators were peaceful. After being pictured with the Confederate flag draped over his head, Lt. Tarik Johnson shot to fame. The demonstrations and his rising stardom were topics of Johnson’s Tuesday press conference.
Johnson claimed to Carlson that his superiors had lied to him because the Capitol Police commanders were unprepared and ignored his radio pleas for assistance.
The officer claims that the former department head, Assistant Chief Yogananda Pittman, was complimented by Nancy Pelosi and moved to the position of director of policing at the University of California, Berkeley.
In speaking with Carlson, Johnson said, “The police officers and management on the front lines were not at all ready.”
We had no clue that day would turn out to be so difficult, to paraphrase a well-known adage.
Carlson played a clip in which Johnson tried to rescue the legislators who were trapped within the building.
A video of Johnson donning a “Make America Great Again” (MAGA) cap surfaced the next day, and he was immediately placed on indefinite suspension.
After realizing there was no future for him in law enforcement, he decided to quit.
Carlson presented us with Johnson’s excellent efforts.
Around the middle of the day, I overheard a police officer reported that the Capitol had been assaulted. According to Johnson, this prompted him to rush inside and assist in securing the legislators and the building.
By radio, he appealed for assistance to his superiors.
Johnson said that the group needs “strong leadership” to find the best path forward.
Let me know what I can do to assist you. When I asked who it was, [no one responded].
Johnson elaborated, saying, “Because I could see them going by the senate entrance, I sought for permission to clear out the senate side, the senate chambers,” but he was denied.
The dispatcher phoned me multiple times to ask if it was okay to proceed.
This time around, there was complete silence.
His superiors, he claimed, failed him, so he had to handle everything on his own.
According to Johnson, the individual who was meant to permit him to leave the building never showed up.
I wished that every one of those congressmen and senators would just go out of here.
That’s why I demanded that evacuations get underway without further delay.
He explained his actions by saying he deliberately broke the regulations he helped establish.
I justified my actions by saying that preventing harm to Congress and its staff was more essential than avoiding punishment.
Carlson probed him on the meaning of his first MAGA hat appearance.
Johnson, who claims to support Biden, claimed that a protester to his right had slapped a “Make America Great Again” (MAGA) cap on his head.
I resisted his pleadings to return the hat since I anticipated future use for it.
It may be “your passport through the crowd,” as Carlson phrased it. According to Johnson, at least.
The hat was a tactical choice made so that I could make my way more easily through the mob.
If I wanted to go to a place of peace and safety, I had to take those steps.
What may have occurred if I hadn’t had it to get past that mob is terrifying.
Johnson claims that he attempted to contact the January 6 Committee so that he might testify before it, but was never responded to.
I was to constantly ponder the question “why,” he stated.
She stated, “And every day I might have a different answer,” after noting that the media was more interested in Trump than in the blunders of the Capitol Police.
Carlson inquired as to the purpose of the rioters’ presence in the Capitol, to which Johnson replied that although some intended violence, others mistakenly believed they were acting patriotically.
Several of them seemed intent on causing problems, from what I could tell. There’s a chance that some people’s hardships made them cruel.
Many individuals, I believe, wished to express their admiration for and solidarity with the president.
Some of them, the author adds, was just trying to show their support for him. Some of them didn’t do violent acts, and some of them didn’t even plot it.
