El Paso has declared a state of emergency because of the influx of thousands of illegal immigrants.

With thousands of illegal immigrants expected to arrive soon, El Paso, Texas, proclaimed a state of emergency.

Mayor Oscar Leeser declared a state of emergency due to the surge of illegal immigrants. The mayor gave a press conference in which he reiterated that he could not ensure the safety of the local population until the reinstatement of Title 42 on Wednesday.

When I inquired with our federal partners whether they would be prepared for the influx of 4,000, 5,000, or 6,000 persons on Wednesday, I was met with the expected response: “no.” In response, Leeser took swift and decisive action.

It’s possible that border patrol agents won’t have as much leeway to send illegal immigrants back to Mexico as they formerly had under the Trump administration. Around sixty thousand people may cross the border illegally every year.

On Wednesday, December 21, shoppers should expect large crowds. After 2,550 people turned up on Tuesday, Leeser predicted that between 4,500 and 5,500 people would come up on Wednesday, possibly increasing to 6,000.

Now that Leeser is officially recognized, he may apply for even more government assistance.

The mayor has requested assistance in replacing empty posts, moving migrants to other communities, and bolstering police presence to ensure the safety of residents.

For this reason, Leeser stated, “I indicated from the outset that I would notice it when I sensed that either our asylum seekers or community were not secure.”

OEM sent mobile assistance units to assist undocumented immigrants when CBP released them into the city.

Despite overwhelming criticism, Vice President Joe Biden has decided to get rid of Title 42. More than forty thousand undocumented people congregate in the Mexican state of Chiapas, not far from the border with Guatemala, according to an intelligence assessment conducted by the border police.
