Elon Musk, the owner of Tesla and X, will be interviewed by Ben Shapiro, Editor Emeritus of the Daily Wire, on X Space. Musk and the Anti-Defamation League (ADL) are at odds over claims that Musk’s social networking platform, X, isn’t doing enough to combat anti-Semitism. This interview takes place during their heated exchange.
The ADL had already claimed that Musk’s platform was unable to stop anti-Semitism. In response, Musk threatened to sue the ADL for slander and claimed that the ADL was to blame for its decreased income. In support of Musk, Ben Shapiro concurred with his assertions on the ADL’s strategies and likened them to the Global Alliance for Responsible Media (GARM) in terms of their effects on journalism and free speech.
Shapiro also attacked the ADL, saying that it is more of a progressive interest organization than a true advocate of Jewish issues. According to Musk, the ADL’s assaults may cost his firm over $22 billion in value.
Benjamin Netanyahu, the prime minister of Israel, encouraged Elon Musk to address anti-Semitism on social media at their recent meeting. In response, Musk said that he was against anti-Semitism and any other hate speech that incites violence.
After Elon Musk’s interview, Ben Shapiro and Musk will take part in a panel discussion led by Rabbi Dr. Ari Lamm on the X Space platform with Jewish leaders. Prominent individuals include Rabbi Abraham Cooper, Menachem Margolin, Manis Friedman, Rubi Rivlin, and Natan Sharansky will be on the panel.
