A 32-year-old Florida man was arrested following a series of alarming online posts in which he threatened to carry out violent actions against a local church. The suspect had been terminated from his job shortly before making the posts and suspected to have targeted Christ Fellowship Church.
Investigators from the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office say the man uploaded videos online stating, “It’s all kill shot,” and mimicking firearm use while walking into church grounds. He further declared, “It’s gonna look like a genocide,” and accused the congregation of being on his list. He allegedly lives just 1.5 miles from the church and had registered for a church event days before the threats emerged.
The man was charged with making written threats to kill or inflict bodily injury and is being held on $250,000 bond. Church staff alerted authorities after noticing his repeated presence near the building, prompting a tip to Crime Stoppers. Security personnel confirmed his check-in for the event and the surveillance footage under review.
Law-enforcement officials say officers are treating the incident as “potentially targeted violence,” and they are conducting a detailed threat assessment alongside the church and local agencies. Community leaders have called for heightened awareness and reassurance for congregants as investigations continue.
