FBI Questions Alleged Party Goer, Here’s What He Told Them

Democrats insisted that the FBI investigate Brett Kavanaugh for the seventh time and they will not be happy with the results if this interview is an example. The subject in question is supposed to be a corroborating witness for Christine Ford, but that fell as flat as her allegations have.

Patrick J. Smyth testified that he was never at any such party as was described by Ford and furthermore, had never seen Brett Kavanaugh act as Ford described him, in all the time he knew him. The FBI says that Smyth fully cooperated with him and his story told was the same as his original, without any inconsistencies.

    From The Blaze

Smyth said in the statement that not only was he not at the party Ford had described but said that he had never seen Kavanaugh act in the manner she had alleged.

“Patrick J. Smyth has fully cooperated with the FBI investigation in this matter,” the statement read.

“He truthfully answered every question the FBI asked him and, consistent with the information he previously provided to the Senate Judiciary Committee,” it continued, “he indicated that he has no knowledge of the small party or gathering described by Dr. Christine Blasey Ford nor does he have any knowledge of the allegations of improper conduct she has leveled against Brett Kavanaugh.”

Smyth had previously made a statement to the Judiciary Committee, but critics of Kavanaugh and his denials wanted the FBI to investigate in order to add the threat of perjury. His story has not changed.

    Smyth said:

“I understand that I have been identified by Dr. Christine Blasey Ford as the person she remembers as ‘PJ’ who supposedly was present at the party she described in her statements to the Washington Post.”

“I am issuing this statement today to make it clear to all involved that I have no knowledge of the party in question, nor do I have any knowledge of the allegations of improper conduct she has leveled against Brett Kavanaugh.”

Poor Democrats. Sometimes their uncorroborated smears just don’t work.
