Dianne Feinstein had a private dinner with the enemy and then claimed that the State Department okayed the meeting. The State Department says that is a lie.
Her dinner is a direct violation of the Logan Act and could land her in hot water, especially after she lied about having the authorization to meet with the high official of an enemy nation. But Democrats aligning themselves with enemy nations and against Americans is the new normal. Scoop Jackson and Daniel Patrick Moynihan must be rolling over in their graves.
John Kerry has also met with Iranian officials on multiple occasions.
Democrat Senator Dianne Feinstein (D-CA) had a private dinner with Iranian Foreign Minister Javad Zarif when he was in the country a few weeks ago.
Feinstein’s office said the dinner was arranged with consultation with the State Department.
However, a State Department official said this was not true.
