For Ted Cruz, it is “critical” that the FBI inspect Hunter Biden’s home for classified materials.

Sen. Cruz has demanded an “immediate” investigation.

This past Wednesday, Ted Cruz, a Republican senator from Texas, asked the FBI to search for Hunter Biden’s home and workplace to uncover classified information.

Cruz discussed the recent discovery of classified documents in President Biden’s private office at the Penn Biden Center and his home in Wilmington, Delaware, on the episode of his podcast “Verdict” that aired on Wednesday.

In his podcast, Cruz recommended that the FBI investigate Hunter Biden’s residence and workplace in case classified materials are kept there. The FBI will not have to wait weeks or months while all those documents are shredded. Hunter Biden’s home and office will be searched tomorrow. We must quickly determine what Joe Biden has done and protect sensitive information.

Cruz asked, “does Hunter Biden oppose an FBI inquiry into his property and business?” It should be directed at White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre.

If nobody opposes, the FBI will go ahead and do it. “Now, if he protests, that tells you something,” Cruz remarked.

On January 12, 2019, Biden’s garage in Wilmington, Delaware, was publicly revealed to be the location of secret files by White House special counsel Richard Sauber. Classified documents were discovered at Biden’s Wilmington home on December 20, 2022, while sensitive materials were discovered in Biden’s private office at the Penn Biden Center in Washington, DC, on November 2, 2022.

The FBI searched Biden’s Wilmington home on January 20 and found six things, including classified documents, according to a statement made by Biden’s attorney, Bob Bauer.

Initially, “the President urged his lawyers to aggressively collaborate with the Department of Justice,” as stated by Bauer. Because of this, we “offered to provide prompt access to the President’s home in Wilmington to allow DOJ to search the entire premises for possible presidential records and potential classified material,” “having previously identified and reported to DOJ a small number of documents with classification markings at the President’s home.”

The FBI conducted a permitted, warrantless search beginning at 9:45 a.m. on January 20 and concluding at 10:30 p.m.

During a visit to California on January 19, President Joe Biden said he did not regret keeping silent about the presence of the secret papers at the time (less than a week before the midterm elections).

I look forward to hearing about your epiphany of nothingness. I do not regret making this choice in the slightest. This far, I have followed the lawyers’ orders. It is the same situation here. There is no flesh on this bone,” Biden said.

As Biden put it, “we learned a few documents were submitted in the improper section” after the reorganization. We promptly delivered them to the National Archives and the Justice Department. We are ready to provide a hand wherever needed and anticipate this problem being resolved quickly.
