There’s little surprise in Weingarten’s request for forgetfulness given that she was one of the greatest offenders during the epidemic when she and others like her drove parents and teachers away from public schools in droves. As a result of her efforts on behalf of the American Federation of Teachers (AFT), which led to the CDC’s decision to keep schools closed despite the health risks, student test scores are in the toilet, and children throughout the country are years behind their peers. That’s not even counting the billions Weingarten stole from the American government.
Randi is pleading with us not to hold her responsible for the harm she has caused to millions of children by closing their schools for a whole year. Throw it out of your mind.
