Former Hillary Adviser Calls Biden To Drop Out…Take Tara Reade Seriously

Peter Daou called Saturday for Joe Biden to drop out of the presidential race because Democrats would be surrendering the moral high ground after all the information that has come out about his sexual assault on Tara Reade. When has the liberal Democrats ever take the higher moral ground? When the have abortions or when they vote for communists?

Daou was an advisor to both Hillary Clinton and John Kerry at the State Department. Joe Biden is the presumptive Democratic nominee for president. Should he drop out, who would take his place? Bernie Sanders has the second most delegates of any candidate. But I doubt the DNC would allow him to win. The Democrats don’t believe elections have consequences as long as there are activist judges.

The whole thing came to a head when the video was found when Reade’s mother called Larry King about what to do about her daughter being harassed by a prominent Senator. The video is from 1993 , the year Reade said Creepy Joe molested her. It makes it much harder for Democrats to make Reade out as a cheap slut as they did with all the women in Bill Clinton’s life.

    From The Daily Caller

Peter Daou called Saturday for former vice president and presumptive 2020 Democratic nominee Joe Biden to drop out of the race.

Citing new evidence of possible sexual misconduct, Daou — who had previously advised both former Secretaries of State Hillary Clinton and John Kerry — argued that the party could not afford for Biden to not take the accusations of former aide Tara Reade seriously.

Daou began by saying that “BIDEN SHOULD WITHDRAW,” noting that, while he respected the will of the American people, “Credible rape accusations are disqualifying or we have NO moral standards.”

Predicting “potential catastrophe in Nov.,” Daou went on to suggest that any number of candidates who had already bowed out of the race could come back to replace Biden — or that Independent Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders could simply press play on his paused campaign.

Calling a Biden withdrawal both “the ethical position AND the smarter strategy to beat Trump,” Daou went on to say that Democrats would “lose ALL moral authority if we embrace ‘the lesser of two accused rapists.’”
