Lorie Kruse, the significant other of deceased Kansas City Chiefs fan David Harrington, one of three individuals discovered unresponsive at a watch party, has stated openly her conviction that Harrington was “murdered.” This statement is in spite of the fact that Kansas City police have not initiated a homicide investigation and have no grounds to suspect foul play.

On January 9, Harrington, 37, Ricky Johnson, 38, and Clayton McGeeney, 36, were discovered deceased outside the rental property of Jordan Willis in Kansas City. The men’s frozen condition at the time of their discovery sparked conjecture regarding the possible causes of their demise.

During an interview with Chris Cuomo of NewsNation, Kruse unequivocally declared that Harrington, her seventeen-year-long partner, did not engage in substance use. “The murder of David occurred,” she declared. “David wasn’t a drug addict like they’re talking about.”

Kruse expressed skepticism regarding the party’s characterization as an informal assembly of acquaintances, citing her lack of familiarity with anecdotes pertaining to Willis. She had heard rumors regarding Willis that were unfavorable, but she was unable to verify their accuracy. Despite her resolute belief that wrongdoing had occurred, Kruse acknowledged her lack of certainty regarding the potential findings of the ongoing investigation.

Willis, whose residence was being utilized to entertain Chiefs supporters, asserted that he had been sound asleep on a sofa for approximately two days and was not informed of the whereabouts of his companions. Prior to the welfare check, Willis had no knowledge of the incident, according to a previous statement by his attorney.

Captain Jake Becchina of the Kansas City Police Department clarified that “absolutely no homicide investigation is underway.” Jon Harrington, the father of Harrington, has voiced doubt regarding Willis’ account of the events, implying potential complicity in the calamity.

In order to ascertain the cause of death, the toxicology reports are awaited by the bereaved families. The community and the bereaved have been profoundly affected by the incident, which has left numerous queries unanswered regarding what transpired that night.
