Rudy Giuliani says that Mueller is withholding the plea deal with Manafort because he won’t testify that President Trump knew about the Trump Tower meeting before it happened.
We already know that Roger Stone was told that Mueller would back off, if he would lie about the president. Ditto, Jerome Corsi. Cohen made the deal with Mueller. Mueller says Cohen lies about everything, except when he testifies about the president. And even though Cohen’s crimes were nothing to do with Trump, Mueller tried to let him off the hook and out of prison.
That’s a mighty good reason to lie. Which, I have no doubt he has done.
Trump lawyer Rudolph Giuliani said Friday that special counsel Robert Mueller accused former Trump campaign chairman Paul Manafort of violating his plea deal by lying about the president.
Mr. Giuliani said Mr. Mueller specifically took issue with Mr. Manafort’s testimony that the president knew nothing about the 2016 Trump Tower meeting between members of his campaign and Russians.
“In the questioning of Manafort, they did tell them at the time that they believed he was lying about certain things related to us that he’s not lying about,” Mr. Giuliani said, CNN reported.
Mr. Giuliani recently confirmed that the legal teams for Mr. Manafort and Mr. Trump are sharing information regarding the special counsel.
The special counsel team took Mr. Manafort back to court late last month for breaking his plea deal by allegedly lying to investigators.
Robert Mueller has a long history of withholding exculpatory evidence and he has already done so with Stone and Trump.
