Member of the House Freedom Caucus and Republican from Alabama, Representative Barry Moore (R-AL), says Democrats will pay for Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg’s choice to seek a prosecution of former President Donald Trump.
Moore told FM Talk 106.5 in Mobile, Alabama that the charge had galvanized the Republican Party and the American people.
He predicted that the red states and “everywhere else” in the country would rally around the president because of the special counsel. And I do believe it has brought the party together. We haven’t always seen eye to eye within the party, you know. While some of us may lean more conservatively, others may take a more centrist stance, we are all obligated to defend individual rights. This inspires us to take action. If this hadn’t occurred, I don’t believe President Trump would be nearly as strong as he is now.
The indictment’s effect on voters, says the federal representative from Alabama, will make a Democratic win impossible.
Moore also claimed that “whether it was Russia, Russia — they spied on Trump’s campaign.” The general, Mike Flynn, was the target. They made plans to arrest Roger Stone. Then, in Ukraine, he was suspected of doing something shady. They impeached him twice, and then 91 days before an election they went and searched his home. This only suggests that they are looking for a crime by concentrating on an individual rather than the crime itself. And that should worry the citizens of the United States. By November, this will have failed. They can’t pull off that level of cheating and expect to triumph the next time, Jeff.
To make fun of a statement by Sol Wachtler, former chief judge of the New York Court of Appeals, who said that prosecutors could get grand juries to “indict a ham sandwich,” Moore gave out ham sandwiches to constituents at his Capitol Hill office on Friday afternoon.
