Debbie Robinson, grandmother of 22-year-old Tyler Robinson—arrested in connection with the killing of conservative activist Charlie Kirk—has come forward to deny his involvement in the crime. She described her grandson as shy, non-violent, and someone who never owned or used a gun.
Debbie said she had never witnessed Tyler express political opinions and was deeply confused by the charges. She maintains he has no history of trouble and insists it’s impossible he could have made the precise long-distance shot given his lack of firearms experience.
Despite her insistence of innocence, investigators say evidence including a recovered bolt-action rifle, surveillance footage, bullet casings with engraved messages, and family interviews contributed to his arrest.
The grandmother’s statement adds a personal and emotional dimension to the rapidly developing case as the legal process moves forward.
