Hamas authorities in Gaza have executed three men accused of working with Israel, as part of efforts to stifle growing resistance inside the territory. The men were identified by a local Hamas official and were killed after being blindfolded and forced to kneel before a crowd.

The executions were filmed and widely shared on social media, showing a public reading of their sentence under what Hamas described as “revolutionary rulings.” A warning message was subsequently placed on the bodies labeling them as traitors who collaborated with the occupation.

Officials say this action aims to send a stark warning to others who might be thinking of assisting adversaries. The incident occurred against a backdrop of increasing tension in Gaza, where rival armed groups are said to be challenging Hamas’s control.
