Leading Hamas official Ghazi Hamad declared in a recent interview that the terrorist group was prepared to carry out as many “Al-Aqsa Flood” replicas of their October 7 terrorist operation as necessary to ensure that every Israeli is killed.
Late last month, after Hamas terrorists killed 1,400 Israelis, injured over 5,300, and abducted almost 240, Hamad made these comments in an interview with LBC TV, a Lebanese television program.
“Israel is a nation that is not welcome on our territory,” he said. The removal of that country is imperative as it poses a threat to the security, military, and political stability of the Arab and Islamic nations. We fully want to speak this without fear of embarrassment.
“We have to impart a lesson to Israel, and we’ll repeat this repeatedly,” he declared. There will be more floods in the future because we are capable of fighting and have the will, resolution, and drive to do so. The Al-Aqsa Flood was only the first. Is there a cost that we must pay? True, and we’re prepared to pay for it. As a nation known for its martyrs, we take great pride in offering sacrifices to the dead.
Subsequently in the interview, he declared that “the occupation must end,” clarifying that he was referring to all of what he claimed to be “the Palestinian lands,” not simply Gaza.
“Is that equivalent to Israel being destroyed?” the news anchor questioned.
“Yes, of course,” was his reply.
He came to the conclusion that Israel’s existence is irrational. “All of that suffering, bloodshed, and crying is caused by Israel’s existence. Not us, but Israel. The occupation has us as its victims. Exactly. As such, we have no one to blame for our actions. Everything we do is justified on October 7, October 10, and October 1,000,000.
