Hamas-affiliated Gazan terrorists launched additional rockets into Israel on Tuesday, heightening tensions. Palestinian rocket attacks are one of the most severe since Hamas’ October 7th attack.
Over a dozen places had rocket sirens, and maps indicate missile alerts in central Israel. This strike targeted Tel Aviv.
Hamas has fired multiple missiles into Israel from Gaza since October 7. In response, Israel has damaged hundreds of Hamas sites in Gaza with bombs.
This Hamas attack marks a tremendous upsurge in hostilities over the previous 18 days, making it one of the war’s most crucial incidents. Only Hamas’ October 7th violence was comparable.
All five Israelis injured in Tuesday’s incident were Israeli. Holon, Tel Aviv, Kfar Saba, Be’er Yaakov, and Yavne were injured.
A little delay has not affected Israeli military preparation for a ground assault of Gaza. Israel’s Chief of Staff, Lieutenant-General Herzi Halevi, stated tactical and strategic elements are allowing them more time to attack Gaza.
To ease hostage negotiations, the Biden administration has requested Israel to delay a ground strike. On October 7, Hamas kidnapped 200 people and released just four—two Israelis and two Americans. Negotiations continue to rescue detainees.
Benjamin Netanyahu has announced his aim to “destroy” Hamas with US and Western help. Hamas wants to destroy Israel.
After meeting Netanyahu, Macron said Hamas must be fought “without mercy, but not without rules.”
