Former Vice President Kamala Harris revealed in a recent interview that she called Joe Biden after hearing news of his cancer treatment but got his voicemail.
She said she left a message expressing confidence in his strength and offering prayers for his recovery and his family.
Biden is currently undergoing a five-week course of radiation therapy, in addition to ongoing hormone treatment, to address a metastatic, hormonally sensitive prostate cancer diagnosis.
Harris also mentioned she had discussed her new memoir with Biden, though she declined to share details of their conversation.
