As I said before, at the end of the day, advertisers who give up advertising on Fox News will reach a lot less peiople and it’s better to be boycotted by leftists on food stamps than conservatives who have jobs. One of Laura Ingraham’s biggest advertisers has changed their mind and will continue to advertise on her program. They now claim that they received incomplete information and they based their decision on that too quickly. That advertiser is Ace Hardware, That’s entirely possible since the boycott was led by Media matters that was co-founded by Hillary Clinton and funded by George Soros. Honesty is not the biggest suit those three wear.
An Ace spokeswoman backtracked Thursday on an April 5 statement the company made, announcing the initial decision to cut advertising from the “Ingraham Angle.”
“The information we had at the time of the initial request was incomplete, and we apologize for that,” the spokeswoman told The Wrap in an email. The company has not “altered our current media schedule,” she said, adding Ace “regularly reviews our media strategy.”
Ace was singing a different tune in a statement announcing its initial decision to pull ads. “I can confirm that we do not have any plans to nationally advertise on Ingraham’s show in the future,” the same spokeswoman told TheWrap on April 5.
Some companies are willing to lose big money in order to be politically correct but sooner or later the stockholders will rebel and toss out current management in order to make a profit. Even mark Zuckerberg received harsh feedback during a shareholders meeting for Facebook over their far left bias. One major shareholder even suggested he resign or be removed. When you alienate half of your subscribers, growth becomes nothing more than a dream and FB is paying a price for it’s bias and their lack of concern for user’s privacy.
