The First Son’s daughter’s mother, whom he has refused to see, and Hunter Biden have finally resolved their ugly, years-long paternity struggle.
According to court documents obtained by DailyMail.com, Hunter and his ex-girlfriend, Lunden Roberts, submitted a joint order to the Independence County Circuit Court on Monday afternoon for approval by Circuit Judge Holly Meyer.
The document will be made public within the next 24 hours, although it will be heavily redacted to protect the privacy of Navy Joan Roberts, who is 4 years old.
Last week, an article published by the New York Post reported that Roberts, 32, had reportedly negotiated a deal to reduce Hunter’s monthly payment from $20,000 to $5,000 due to financial hardship.
Clinton Lancaster, Roberts’ attorney, responded to the article by stating that no agreement had been reached and he would not confirm the financial details.
Thanks to the settlement’s confidentiality provisions, Hunter, 53, will not have to disclose his questionable financial activities in a public paternity trial.
Shortly after it was revealed that Beau Biden, President Joe Biden’s son, would plead guilty to federal tax violations in exchange for a reduced sentence on a separate weapons charge, more details emerged.
Earlier this month, Roberts surprised her former partner by attending his deposition in person for the first time during their paternity fight.
However, the matter was resolved soon after.
Although Roberts initially desired to change Navy’s last name, which was denied by Hunter’s legal team, she is said to have withdrawn that request.
While Hunter and his ex-girlfriend had reached a child support agreement in 2019, she is now requesting a payment of less than $20,000 per month for their beautiful 4-year-old daughter, Navy Joan Roberts.
Roberts insisted on meeting with her lawyer, who supports Donald Trump, in Arkansas for a filmed deposition, but Hunter refused to cooperate until she provided a significant amount of financial documents.
When the former addict’s five-car motorcade arrived at the Stephens Building through a private parking garage at 9 a.m., the place was filled with Secret Service personnel.
About five minutes later, Roberts, Hunter’s former personal assistant and a bottle girl in Washington, D.C., entered unnoticed. DailyMail.com has exclusively learned that she was deposed for seven hours on Wednesday in the same downtown office building.
After Roberts requested that Circuit Judge Holly Meyer sentence Hunter to six months in jail for failing to disclose his wealth, the two men finally met face to face. The contempt charge has not yet been decided by Meyer.
Initially, Hunter, who had been sued for four years, claimed he was “unemployed and had no monthly income” while paying $12,000 for his Hollywood rental and driving a Porsche.
Despite being ordered to provide financial information on multiple occasions, he refused to do so until reaching a settlement with Roberts for over $750,000 in 2019.
With congressional and federal investigations into his finances already underway, Hunter surprised everyone by reopening the case in September, citing a “substantial material change” in his income as the reason.
Roberts did not back down and instead raised the stakes by requesting a legal name change for her daughter so that she could “benefit from carrying the Biden Family name.” The new name would be Navy Joan Biden.
Hunter’s business dealings in Ukraine and China are just the beginning of the information sought in her discovery request.
In his pleadings, Hunter has stated that he is against Navy Joan becoming a Biden because he wants her to lead a “peaceful existence” away from the political scrutiny that comes with being a member of the Biden dynasty.
