With the First Son’s commitment to meet their out-of-wedlock daughter and play a role in her life, DailyMail.com can exclusively announce that Hunter Biden and his baby mama have settled their contentious child support battle.

Lunden Roberts, 32, decided this week to reduce Hunter’s $20,000 monthly payments and drop her quest to have Navy Joan’s last name changed to Biden, bringing to an abrupt conclusion years of legal fighting.

Hunter reportedly informed Roberts in private chats that he wanted to stop fighting and ‘develop a relationship’ with the cute little four-year-old, which led to the dramatic about-face.

The agreement will also clear the road for Navy Joan to meet President Joe and First Lady Jill for the first time.

While the terms of the settlement are under seal, court documents reveal that the 53-year-old aspiring artist hunter will provide his daughter a painting of her choosing every month.

An informant has told us that Hunter’s abstract works have sold for up to $500,000, but that the price has little to do with the sentiment.

The plan is for Navy Joan to select the artwork so that she has something personal to hang in her room and remember her father by. This, the insider informed DaiyMail.com, “means everything” to her.

Hunter will be able to personally show Navy Joan his artwork and instruct her in the finer points of painting when the time is perfect. This activity is great for father and daughter time together.

Navy Joan is aware that her surname is Roberts and that her father is a member of the Navy. She can legally change her name whenever she likes after the connection has been established.

A federal investigation into Hunter’s tax returns and gun ownership had been ongoing for years, but he was finally able to avoid jail time thanks to a surprise settlement last week.

As previously reported by DailyMail.com, the case was finally resolved when Arkansas native Roberts took the unprecedented step of attending Hunter’s deposition on June 16 in Little Rock.

Before then, tensions between the two had risen to the point where the single mother asked a judge in Independence County to jail the Biden heir for failing to reveal his assets.

About an hour into his deposition, he requested a moment of privacy with Lunden. According to the information provided, this was their first conversation after she became pregnant.

Emotions were high, but after an hour and a half of talking, they were able to iron out most of their issues and bring in the lawyers to draft a settlement.

‘Hunter had expressed interest in spending more time with his daughter, and Lunden had no intention of preventing Navy Joan from meeting her biological father.

For Lunden, the financial stakes in this case have never been high. She has never desired to harm Hunter or engage in conflict with him.

What’s best for Navy is what matters most. Joan’s parents and herself agree with this. They’re only concerned about her.

Despite publicly doting on his other grandchildren, Hunter has yet to meet Navy Joan, and neither has his 80-year-old father, Joe.

Hunter and Hallie, his brother Beau’s widow, were together when they had their daughter, a little blonde girl, in December of 2017.

It was speculated that Hunter and Roberts first met when Roberts worked as a pole dancer at one of Hunter’s favorite DC strip joints.

However, messages found on his forgotten laptop showed that she was employed by his Rosemont Seneca investing firm.

Hunter had first told Roberts that he would be there for her “emotionally, physically, and financially,” as reported by DailyMail.com.

Instead, he brutally ‘ghosted’ her by not responding to her texts or phone calls and by denying that Navy Joan was his until Roberts filed for child support in 2019 and a court-ordered DNA test confirmed her claims.

Hunter, in the accompanying lawsuit, claimed he was “unemployed and had no monthly income,” while paying $12,000 for his Hollywood rental and drove a Porsche.

Despite being ordered to turn over financial information on multiple occasions, he refused to do so until settling with Roberts for over $750,000 in 2019.

When Congress and the FBI were already looking into Hunter’s finances, it came as a surprise last September when Hunter suddenly reopened the matter, saying he’d had “a substantial material change” in his income.

Roberts did not back down and instead raised the stakes by asking the court to legally change her daughter’s name to Navy Joan Biden so that she may “benefit from carrying the Biden Family name.”

Again, her legal team has demanded that Hunter disclose every aspect of his financial life, from the names of the mysterious art lovers who have spent hundreds of thousands of dollars for his novice paintings to the names of his business partners in Ukraine and China.

However, the agreement reached this week means that the trial scheduled for July is no longer necessary.

The lawyers for Roberts and Hunter, who reportedly pay up to $855 per hour for lawyers like Abbe Lowell, declined to comment.
