A former associate of Hunter Biden has strongly refuted President Joe Biden’s recent dismissal of allegations linking him to his son’s overseas business dealings as “lies.” During a press conference, President Biden was questioned about his involvement with his son and brother’s foreign business partners, to which he vehemently denied any such interactions, contradicting existing evidence.
A key figure in this controversy, Eric Schwerin, a principal partner at Hunter Biden’s former company Rosemont Seneca Partners, frequently visited the White House and Biden’s residence during Obama’s presidency. Schwerin, who played a vital role in Hunter’s Chinese business ventures, also managed Joe Biden’s personal finances, including budgeting and tax preparations.
Notably, President Biden has been photographed with some of Hunter’s business partners from various countries, including the U.S., Mexico, Ukraine, China, and Kazakhstan. He even reportedly gave a White House tour to Hunter’s Mexican business associate, Miguel Magnani, and his father, during which Hunter expressed frustration at Magnani for his lack of communication despite facilitating their White House access.
In addition to these instances, Hunter accompanied President Biden on an Asia trip in 2013, where he introduced him to his Chinese business partner Jonathan Li. This introduction was followed by Hunter’s establishment of BHR Partners, a Beijing-backed equity firm. It was also revealed that President Biden had coffee with Li during the trip.
Furthermore, Devon Archer, another of Hunter’s business partners, testified in a closed-door interview about Hunter’s use of his father’s influence as “defensive leverage” in business dealings, often presenting him as “the brand” with unique insights into Washington, D.C.
President Biden also attended a dinner at Cafe Milano in 2015, where he met Burisma board adviser Vadym Pozharskyi. Pozharskyi later thanked Hunter for the opportunity to meet the elder Biden, contrary to the Biden campaign’s initial denial of such a meeting. Additionally, a 2014 dinner at the same venue included several high-profile figures, such as Russian oligarch Yelena Baturina and former Kazakhstan Prime Minister Karim Massimov.
Bank records suggest a financial link between Baturina and Rosemont Seneca Thornton, indicating a payment of $3.5 million to the firm in February 2014, months before the controversial dinner.
Despite these emerging details, President Biden has consistently maintained that he was uninvolved in and unaware of his son’s business ventures. He has repeatedly asserted that he never discussed business with Hunter or any family member, a claim now being challenged by accumulating evidence and testimonies.
