Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents carried out a large-scale operation in Aurora, Colorado, targeting over 100 suspected members of the Venezuelan criminal organization Tren de Aragua. The raid, conducted in coordination with local and federal law enforcement agencies, is part of an ongoing effort to dismantle transnational criminal enterprises operating within the United States.

Authorities reported multiple arrests following the operation, though specific details regarding the number of detainees have not yet been disclosed. The individuals apprehended are suspected of engaging in a range of criminal activities, including drug trafficking, human smuggling, and violent offenses.

Tren de Aragua, which originated in Venezuela, has expanded its influence across Latin America and into the U.S. in recent years. Law enforcement officials have described the group as highly organized and involved in a wide range of illicit operations.

The raid in Aurora marks one of the largest enforcement actions against the organization on U.S. soil. ICE officials stated that the operation was part of a broader strategy to combat the growing presence of international criminal organizations within American communities.

Authorities are expected to provide further details as investigations continue, with additional charges and deportation proceedings likely for those taken into custody.
