The Inspector General who discovered that Hillary was using a private server illegally, Charles McCullough III,  says he was told to drop his investigation and when he didn’t the Clinton campaign told him he would be fired as soon as Hillary took office.

He received numerous warnings that people were out to get him and he was accused of being a Republican shill despite the fact that he was appointed by Barack Obama. Things got worse for him after he testified before Congress that Hillary had emails that were actually classified above Top Secret and that if they had been hacked, people would die.

In fact, someone did die.  Shahram Amiri,  an Iranian nuclear scientist who was executed by Iran for treason, to be exact. He was mentioned carelessly in Hillary’s emails and Sen Tom Cotton commented on that situation:

“I’m not going to comment on what he may or may not have done for the United States government, but in the emails that were on Hillary Clinton’s private server, there were conversations among her senior advisors about this gentleman.”

Iran later confirmed the execution as noted by Sen Tom Cotton in the following statement:

“This person who had access to the country’s secret and classified information had been linked to our hostile and No. 1 enemy, America, the Great Satan. He provided the enemy with vital and secret information of the country.”

    From Fox News

In January 2016, after McCullough told the Republican leadership on the Senate intelligence and foreign affairs committees that emails beyond the “Top Secret” level passed through the former secretary of state’s unsecured personal server, the backlash intensified.

“All of a sudden I became a shill of the right,” McCullough recalled. “And I was told by members of Congress, ‘Be careful. You’re losing your credibility. You need to be careful. There are people out to get you.’”

But the former inspector general, with responsibility for the 17 intelligence agencies, said the executive who recommended him to the Obama administration for the job – then-Director of National Intelligence James Clapper – was also disturbed by the independent Clinton email findings.

The Clinton campaign put out a false statement as a means of damage control:

“Clinton only used her account for unclassified email. When information is reviewed for public release, it is common for information previously unclassified to be upgraded to classified.”

That was an obvious lie as 22 documents had extremely sensitive material in it and would have been classified at the time of it’s writing as was the case with the emails about Shahram Amiri.

McCullough said that he received a letter from a group of Democratic Senators accusing him of bias against Hillary, including Diane Feinstein, who later asked him to respond to the letter, which he refused to do.

    He said:

“I thought that any response to that letter would just hyper-politicize the situation. I recall even offering to resign, to the staff director. I said, ‘Tell [Feinstein] I’ll resign tonight. I’d be happy to go. I’m not going to respond to that letter. It’s just that simple.”

Just before the election, McCullough said he was approached by a higher up in the Hillary campaign that:

“It was told in no uncertain terms, by a source directly from the campaign, that we would be the first two to be fired — with [Clinton’s] administration. That that was definitely going to happen.”

I don’t recall the Democrats or their co-conspirators in the mainstream press ever hollering for a special prosecutor or make accusations of obstruction against Hillary or any of her minions.
