While searching Biden’s home in Wilmington, Delaware, five additional pages of classified information were found.
Some notable conservatives publicly wondered why the FBI hadn’t searched Biden’s house as they did with former President Trump. They rushed to social media on Saturday to condemn the Biden administration over the announcement that even more sensitive material had been uncovered on his property.
Remember when the FBI raided Mar-a-Lago because they couldn’t be bothered to resolve a dispute over presidential paperwork, despite having spent years patiently resolving other presidential paperwork disputes and failing to notice that President Biden had scavenged and spread around classified documents? Fox News contributor Mollie Hemingway tweeted her thoughts on Saturday.
The tweet came from Republican congresswoman Lauren Boebert, who said, “ANOTHER pile of confidential material found in the Biden residence.” Following Cringe Karine’s announcement that Biden’s residence had been investigated thoroughly, we got this:
“It seems like archives are springing out of nowhere in Wilmington. As of yet, the FBI has not conducted a raid…”
When a special prosecutor is appointed, “Biden White House Counsel rushes to Biden Delaware mansion with Biden DOJ employees to seek for documents?” The director of Judicial Watch, Tom Fitton, took to Twitter. “Trump offered to let the DOJ and Biden’s people look at records, but they turned him down. Because of this, the FBI stormed Trump Tower. The Justice Department under Biden’s leadership is a sewer.”
When is the FBI going to do a full-scale raid? GOP Texan senator Ted Cruz tweeted.
Twitter users pointed out what they saw as a double standard after discovering an additional five pages of classified information at Biden’s house in Wilmington, Delaware.
It was reported earlier this week that on November 2, 2018, at the Penn Biden Center for Diplomacy and Global Engagement, Biden’s attorneys “unexpectedly found” documents from his time as president that were marked as classified.
Despite the White House’s assurances that it has been “transparent” in its treatment of the discovery and subsequent explanations to the media, pundits on both the left and the right have questioned the decision not to inform the public before the November midterms.
Biden has also been criticized for his comments that led to an FBI search of Trump’s Mar-a-Lago estate after the president denied knowing anything about the presence of hidden storage areas for building supplies.
In a September 60 Minutes interview, Biden said that his initial reaction upon hearing the news was to ask “how it could happen, how one man could be that careless.” “Then I began to wonder what details would be disclosed that would betray our confidences. I’m talking, more narrowly, to a roll call of those who have helped or made contributions.”
Fox News Digital has reached out to the White House and the FBI for comment but has not yet received a response.
