After over a year investigating Russian collusion with Trump, Mueller has still produced one iota of proof. For a year before that, the FBI struck out try as they might unseat President Trump. It has become a joke.
The Mueller investigation leaks more than your average colander and most of that information is false. Mueller himself has a long history of corrupt prosecution practices and may begin, once Manafort’s trial in front of Judge TS Ellis resumes.
Ellis has already accused Mueller’s attorneys of bringing bogus cases to court for no other reason than to try to undo the last presidential election and could very well rule that either Mueller overstepped his bounds or worse that Rod Rosenstein set up an illegal investigation. Should that happen, Mueller is finished.
Now, leading Republicans in Congress are calling for Mueller to wrap up his bogus investigation.
“They ought to wrap it up. It’s gone on seemingly forever and I don’t know how much more they think they can find out,” Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell said Thursday, according to the Washington Examiner.
It “has got to stop,” House Majority Leader Kevin McCarthy told Fox News about Meuller’s investigation.
House Speaker Paul Ryan wants to “see it get wrapped up.”
“I think Director Mueller would be well advised to wrap up his investigation,” Republican Texas Sen. John Cornyn told reporters this week.
Unless Mueller wants to be “the main focal point of the midterm election, which again is not something the Department of Justice or FBI should be doing, then I think he needs to wrap it up,” Cornyn continued.
Republican South Dakota Sen. John Thune told Fox News last month that it’s “time for them to begin winding this down.”
Mitch McConnell has expressed support for the Mueller investigation, but now, like everyone one else, he sees through the farce. The investigation which started out because of a Hillary sponsored hit piece full of lies and innuendos has morphed into a DNC supported witch hunt used as a weapon in the midterm elections.
