Rapper “21 Savage” an avid Trump hater has suffered from a severe case of karma after it was discovered that he has been lying about being from Atlanta when he is really from Great Britain.
He came to this country in 2005 and his visa expired in 2006, but he never left. That means he will get hit by a double whammy. Not only can he be deported but he will not be able to get another visa to come to the United States because he overstayed a visa previously.
Even though he isn’t an American, he has injected himself into our politics.
Trump-hating rapper ’21 Savage’ was arrested by ICE agents on Sunday morning in Atlanta for reportedly overstaying his visa.
21 Savage, whose real name is Sha Yaa Bin Abraham-Joseph, claimed to be from Atlanta, but it turns out he is a British citizen.
“U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) arrested unlawfully present United Kingdom national Sha Yaa Bin Abraham-Joseph AKA ’21 Savage’ during a targeted operation with federal and local law enforcement partners early Sunday in metro Atlanta,” ICE spokesman Brian Cox told the Atlanta Journal-Constitution. “Mr. Abraham-Joseph was taken into ICE custody as he is unlawfully present in the U.S. and also a convicted felon.” Savage was convicted of felony drug charges in 2014 in Fulton County, Georgia.
In September of 2016, 21 Savage posted “F*ck Trump” to his Facebook page promoting his anti-Trump event ‘Young Metro Don’t Trust Trump‘ — talk about foreign election meddling and interference!
