David Hogg says he wants to run for Congress when he turns twenty-five. He’s also the uneducated gun grabber who travels around with armed bodyguards. Also, he’s a huge fan of socialist Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez.
Who he says will become president one day. He complains old men and women of the party like Nancy Pelosi and Bernie Sanders refuse to get the f*^k out. So to give young people the chance to run the country. Could you imagine a couple of hundred David Hoggs running the country? Stephen King could turn that into one hell of a book!
According to the New York Magazine feature, Hogg has quickly decided on his political views in the past several months, such as his opposition of charter schools and his support for universal healthcare.
He is apparently inspired by the rise of New York Democrat Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, saying he believes she will be the president one day. He thinks Democrats need a youth movement, something he said Republicans have done a better job at.
“Older Democrats just won’t move the f*** off the plate and let us take control,” Hogg said. “Nancy Pelosi is old.”
Despite his liberal lean, he is critical of popular Democratic politicians like Sen. Bernie Sanders, who he said is “terrible on guns,” and former President Barack Obama, who “increased drone warfare and killed a lot of civilians.”
I have nothing against young people running for office. I hold them to the same standard I hold every candidate to. Which is at least an understanding of how life really works? David Hogg just doesn’t come close to passing that standard.
I also like to think the possibility exists that he sees the sort of revenue some of his left-leaning idols make and you know that boy wants on the same train.
