Jada Pinkett Smith has shared her future plans to live with her estranged husband, Will Smith, with the aim of providing care as he ages. Despite being secretly separated for seven years, the couple considers themselves “life partners” and remains dedicated to supporting one another. While Jada currently has her own residence near Will’s, she envisions moving back in with him when the need arises, foreseeing that he will require assistance as he gets older.
During an interview, Jada expressed her strong aversion to divorce, explaining that they both came to realize their unrealistic expectations of marriage when they chose to separate in 2016. Although divorce was initially on the table, it ultimately didn’t feel right for either of them. Their primary focus remains on supporting and caring for each other.
While the interview didn’t delve into specific reasons for their separation, it is well-known that they have faced significant challenges during their marriage. Notably, their separation in 2016 coincided with Jada’s involvement with the younger singer, August Alsina.
Despite the recent revelations about their past struggles, the couple remains united and committed to their life partnership, with no divorce in their future plans. They have been married since 1997 and share two children, Jaden and Willow, with Will also having a son, Trey, from a previous marriage.
