During his vacation at Lake Tahoe on the West Coast, President Biden was met with a chorus of boos from the locals. During their nine-day vacation, the Bidens will be staying in a mansion worth $18 million that is owned by Tom Steyer, an environmental activist and a previous candidate for the Democratic presidential nomination. This comes on the wake of a recent trip made by the President of the United States to Hawaii, where he surveyed the damage caused by recent wildfires.

A video footage that captured the event was extensively shared throughout social media and showed Vice President Biden speaking with the press as a crowd in the background booed to show their disgust of what was going on. In the video, he talked about economic worries and job relocation; but, at times, the jeering from bystanders periodically made it difficult to hear what he was saying.

Critics of Vice President Joe Biden took advantage of the chance to voice their opinions, and some found the film to be both satisfying and entertaining. On various social media sites, people expressed everything from agreement to lighthearted commentary on the President of the United States’ facial expressions as he was being heckled.

When asked about the event, the White House declined to make a statement or provide a remark about it.

During this time, President Biden was enjoying his vacation in Lake Tahoe, and an incident that included the North American Aerospace Defense Command (NORAD) brought even more attention to the trip. In the vicinity of Lake Tahoe, the North American Aerospace Defense Command (NORAD) sent interceptor aircraft into the air after spotting a civilian plane flying in violation of a Temporary Flight Restriction (TFR) zone. During the course of the intercept, the combat aircraft used flares as a preventative precaution to attract the attention of the pilot. This was done with the intention of ensuring everyone’s safety, including those on the ground as well as those within the aircraft.
