President Joe Biden recently stated in an interview that he would be in favor of using public funding to assist women in affording abortions.
A medical resident allegedly questioned Trump during an interview with Now This News if he would support utilizing public funding to cover the costs of abortion, including the cost of childcare and time off work for women who are pregnant and considering an abortion.
The response is yes. In response, Biden said, “I do support it, and I’ve openly asked corporations to do so.”
Axios published the abortion-related details of Biden’s response before the interview with the media outlet aired on social media on Sunday.
The president expressed disappointment that some pregnant women were unable to undergo abortions due to financial constraints.
Imagine, he said, the ladies who require such help but lack the financial resources to obtain it. “None. Why do they do that? This isn’t a choice they can make.”
Vice President Biden lauded businesses that have stepped in to make it easier for women to undergo abortions by providing them with resources like free airfare and paid sick leave.
As president of the United States, I have publicly pushed them to… Saying, “This is what you should be doing,” he encouraged the action.
The legalization of abortion across the country has been a priority for Biden, and he has lately increased his efforts to include this in his midterm agenda.
On Tuesday, Obama promised that if Democrats kept their majorities in January, he would sign a measure making Roe v. Wade federal law.
Biden told reporters on Wednesday that “we ought to be able to walk and chew gum at the same time” when asked which domestic problem his administration was focusing on more: abortion or inflation. You must be familiar with that cliche.
