A recent Harvard Caps/Harris survey shows that President Joseph Biden’s popularity ratings are falling at home as a result of his unexpected trip to Ukraine.
Overall, the poll showed that only 42% of respondents approved of President Joe Biden, while 55% disapproved.
In addition, his approval on individual problems is below the threshold of a majority, except the Chinese Coronavirus. Just around half of people think he handled the subject well.
On the other hand, the 80-year-old president has far lower approval ratings when it comes to dealing with the economy (39%), immigration (38%), and inflation (25%). (38 percent approve).
Furthermore, only 46% of people think Biden is doing a good job of “boosting jobs,” and only 44% think he is doing a good job of “fighting terrorism.”
He has support from 42% of the population for the way he is running the government, and from 39% for the way he is handling the problem of violent crime.
Moreover, 43% of people think he’s doing a good job of handling international matters, which is potentially quite telling given that it comes before President Biden’s surprise visit to Ukraine, to whom the United States has donated tens of billions of dollars.
Before Congress passed the $1.7 trillion omnibus spending bill in December, which allocated billions of taxpayer dollars to Ukraine, Rep. Thomas Massie (R-KY) provided some context by noting that the amount of money given to the country could be translated to over $200 million from each Congressional district in the United States:
Even though it’s been weeks since a catastrophic train wreck devastated East Palestine, Ohio, Biden has yet to visit the town’s people. Trump, who announced his candidacy for president in November, is scheduled to be in the city this week.
Donald Trump Jr. made the startling announcement, “Breaking News: Trump will visit East Palestine, Ohio next week.” When “leaders” like this are too chicken to take charge, “genuine leaders” will fill the hole.
Data was collected from 1,838 voters on February 15-16, 2022.
