John Kelly Claims Trump Is Terrified of Federal Charges

In a stunning revelation, John Kelly, the former chief of staff to ex-President Donald Trump, has shed light on the true emotions Trump is experiencing amidst the 37 felony counts he faces for alleged mishandling and concealment of White House papers. Contrary to his outward demeanor, Kelly claims that Trump is far more terrified than he lets on.

According to insider reports from the Washington Post, Kelly stated, “He’s genuinely petrified,” exposing Trump’s hidden fears surrounding the charges against him.

Following his arraignment in a Miami federal court, the 77-year-old former president made a visit to a popular Cuban restaurant in South Florida to connect with his supporters. From there, he flew to his Bedminster golf club in New Jersey, where he delivered a spirited and uplifting 30-minute speech. These public appearances, according to Kelly, serve as a diversionary tactic to divert attention from his mounting legal woes.

If Trump is found guilty on all counts and receives the maximum punishment for each, he could potentially face a lifetime behind bars in a federal prison.

Kelly believes that Trump’s seemingly nonchalant attitude is merely a façade. “He’s putting up a front to compensate,” Kelly revealed.

This marks a significant departure from Trump’s previous experiences, where he seemingly evaded accountability. For the first time in his life, consequences appear to be catching up with him. Kelly pointed out that Trump has typically employed an “I won’t pay you; take me to court” approach, skillfully avoiding repercussions. This time, however, the former president finds himself confronted with the possibility of real consequences.

Having joined Trump’s administration as homeland security secretary in January 2017, Kelly later assumed the role of White House chief of staff, succeeding Reince Priebus in July 2017 and serving until January 2019.

Since departing from the government, Kelly has expressed his astonishment at Trump’s profound dishonesty, describing it as “astounding.” He even referred to Trump as the most flawed individual he has ever encountered, highlighting the extent of his deceit and the purely transactional nature of his relationships.

Trump, on his part, vehemently denies any wrongdoing in connection with the investigation led by special counsel Jack Smith into the sensitive documents at the heart of the charges
