Sen Ron Johnson has subpoenaed Christopher Wray and the FBI for all of the records for the Crossfire Hurricane investigation. But instead of doing the subpoenas individually and waiting years to get it, they are doing one subpoena for the entire kit and caboodle. Now, let’s see if Wray continues to obstruct justice.
The FBI confirms that they got the subpoena but their announcement is riddled with lies:
“The FBI has already been producing documents and information to the Senate Homeland Security Committee, which are directly responsive to this subpoena. As always, the FBI will continue to cooperate with the Committee’s requests, consistent with our law enforcement and national security obligations.”
Really? Then why do you suppose Richard Grenell had to release transcripts and other documents that congress had been waiting for over a year to get and he did it in just one day? Those transcripts proved that the FBI had lied about many of the facts in the case, For instance, the FBI claimed for over 2 years that CrowdStrike had determined that Russia had hacked the DNC servers, but in reality, the president of CrowdStrike could not even confirm that anyone hacked the servers.
In June, the committee voted to approve subpoenas for information. So why did it take 2 months to do this? The Democrats will run the clock out on this with a big assist from Christopher Wray. They don’t want any of this coming until after the next election in hopes Biden wins and they can hide or destroy all of the records.
The committee also authorized subpoenas to the Office of the Director of National Intelligence for the production of all records related to the process of “unmasking” U.S. persons or entities affiliated “formally or informally” with the Trump campaign, the Trump transition team or the Trump administration from June 2015 through January 2017.
Johnson has the ability to issue subpoenas to a number of officials, including former FBI Counsel James Baker, former CIA Director John Brennan, former FBI Director James Comey, former Director of National Intelligence James Clapper, former Obama chief of staff Denis McDonough, former FBI lawyer Lisa Page, former FBI agent Peter Strzok, Joe Pientka, former White House National Security Adviser Susan Rice, former FBI director of counterintelligence Bill Priestap, former U.N. Ambassador Samantha Power, Sidney Blumenthal, and a number of other Obama-era officials.
