Judge Releases Decades-Old Grand Jury Files From Epstein Investigation

A Florida judge has unsealed previously hidden grand jury documents connected to the case of a notorious late financier, granting public access to evidence and testimony long shielded from view.

The newly available records include sworn statements from dozens of former associates, detailed evidence inventories, and timelines that reveal what investigators knew — and when — about allegations tied to immense wrongdoing.

Legal advocates and former prosecutors say the disclosure could breathe new life into civil lawsuits and potentially prompt further criminal investigations, as documents may implicate additional enablers or associates who were never charged.

Court officials point out that while the release shines a light on internal proceedings, grand jury protections still shield individuals who were not indicted — meaning unsealed materials do not automatically translate into criminal charges.

The move follows years of demand for transparency by survivors and advocacy groups, who argue the public has a right to see the full scope of the investigation and hold accountable those named in the files.
