Julian Castro Criticized Trump’s Pull out of Syria, Calls Him Unbalanced, Then Said He Would Do the Same

If you need any further proof that Democrats are totally unhinged and off their freaking rocker, look no further than Julian Castro, former mayor of San Antonio, who also worked in the Obama White House.

He said that President Trump is erratic for pulling troops out of Syria. Then, he turned around and said he’d pull the troops out also. He claims the difference is that you need an exit plan. There are only 2,000 American troops in Syria.

All parties on both sides want the United States out of the conflict. No one is going to attack as we leave because if that happened, we would make anyone who did pay a heavy price. There are only 5,000 ISIS in Syria left in one small corner of the country.

Without the United States, they are still facing troops from Russia and Iran and the Turkish and Syrian armies.

    From The Washington Times

After blasting President Trump for his “erratic” decision to withdraw U.S. troops from Syria, former San Antonio Mayor Julian Castro admitted Sunday that he would have done the same thing.

The difference is that he would have handled it differently, said Mr. Castro, a potential 2020 Democratic presidential contender.

“I think that many folks recognize that it was time for us to pull out of Syria; however, here’s the thing,” said Mr. Castroon NBC’s “Meet the Press.” “Once you’re there, you have to make sure that you have a plan for your operations there and also for your withdrawal.”

Mr. Trump came under fire for announcing last week that he would pull U.S. troops from Syria, spurring the resignations of both Defense Secretary James Mattis and presidential special envoy for ISIS Brett McGurk.

Mr. Castro, who served as Housing and Urban Development Secretary under President Barack Obama, said he would announced Jan. 12 on whether he will seek the Democratic presidential nomination.

I guess the Democrats think Trump’s policies are good but they sound better when they say them.
