During a meeting with Mongolian Prime Minister Oyun-Erdene Luvsannamsrai at the White House, Vice President Kamala Harris once again delivered a series of oddly worded and repetitive statements, this time focusing on “space cooperation.”
Harris began by mentioning that both she and President Biden have visited the Indo-Pacific region multiple times since taking office. However, as she moved on to discuss America’s plans for space exploration with Mongolia, her speech became muddled with redundant phrases.
She announced that the next steps in their partnership would involve “further expanding our partnership,” particularly focusing on “strengthening our space cooperation.” Harris elaborated on this idea, emphasizing the importance of working together to shape the future and foster economic prosperity between the two nations.
This isn’t the first time Harris has made awkward comments about space. In the past, she was criticized for a “patronizing” description of a space launch.
During the meeting, Prime Minister Luvsannamsrai expressed gratitude for being hosted and praised Mongolia’s democratic journey, with America being their “North Star” since embracing democracy in the 1990s.
Overall, Harris’s public statements have been raising eyebrows for their repetitiveness and strange wording, and this latest instance was no exception.
