Robert F. Kennedy Jr. has issued a blistering critique of Barack Obama and Donald Trump, accusing them of undermining peace efforts in Gaza. In a recent commentary, Kennedy condemned both leaders for pursuing policies that, in his view, entrench conflict and marginalize Palestinians.
He argued that Obama’s negotiated ceasefires ultimately served Israeli strategic interests more than humanitarian goals, while Trump’s hardline alignment with Israel has stifled diplomatic openings. Kennedy called for a more balanced approach—one that pressures both sides to compromise.
Kennedy also challenged the current peace framework, labeling it “illusory,” and asserted that genuine resolution requires symbolic and material concessions from Israel, including return of land and prisoner exchanges.
He urged the U.S. to withdraw unqualified support for Israeli military actions and instead broker a truce that advances justice and long-term stability across the region.
