Kimberly Guilfoyle is boldly defying Fox News’ ban on former President Donald Trump’s surrogates attending the debate spin room. As an advisor to Trump and the girlfriend of his son, Donald Trump Jr., Guilfoyle has asserted that both she and Don Jr. will attend the Milwaukee debate. She has thrown down the gauntlet, challenging anyone to try and prevent their participation, highlighting her unwavering determination to sidestep the imposed ban.

Having previously co-hosted Fox News’ The Five, Guilfoyle views the ban as a betrayal, particularly in light of her past commitment to the network. She expressed deep disappointment in Fox News’ decision, criticizing their messaging as “pathetic” and asserting that it has backfired, drawing attention away from the main focus of the debate.

The prohibition on Trump surrogates in the debate spin room emerged after the former president’s announcement that he would skip the initial two primary debates sponsored by Fox News. Clarifying the situation, Fox News host and debate moderator Bret Baier explained that Trump’s surrogates haven’t been “blocked” from the spin room. However, their presence would be contingent on invitations from media organizations covering the event.

Despite Trump’s absence from the debate stage, his surrogates, Guilfoyle included, remain resolute in their commitment to be on-site. This group encompasses Don Jr., former Arizona gubernatorial candidate Kari Lake, and Georgia Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene. Guilfoyle emphasized their active participation in media engagements to support President Trump, underscoring their unwavering dedication.

The ongoing feud between Trump and Fox News adds layers of complexity to this situation, showcasing the intricate interplay between the former president and the conservative-leaning news network. The primary debates serve as a pivotal battleground for this rivalry, as Trump’s surrogates navigate the ban while striving to uphold their presence and impact within the political discourse.
