During the recent episode of “Jesse Watters Primetime” on Fox News Channel, guest host Kirk Cameron addressed the controversial actions of transgender activist Rose Montoya, who partially undressed on the White House South Lawn as part of a Pride Month celebration. Cameron criticized the culture that not only accepts but also encourages such behavior, particularly in front of children.
Montoya, a biologically male transgender activist, defended the protests at the White House, but his actions received criticism from several Republican lawmakers. In response, the White House barred Montoya from entering the grounds, citing the behavior as “inappropriate and disrespectful.”
Cameron expressed his views on the South Lawn demonstrations, describing them as representative of immorality and disrespect. He emphasized the wrongfulness of involving children in such acts, calling it criminal.
As an actor, producer, husband, and father of six, Cameron has been touring public libraries across the country for the past six months, organizing story-time book events that deliver pro-faith, pro-family, and pro-country messages. Before these readings, participants engage in prayer, recite the Pledge of Allegiance, and sing the national anthem.
During the show, Cameron discussed a “lesson from history.” He contrasted Joe Biden’s decision to fly the pride flag in his office, which he equated to the American flag, with the “humility flag” raised by George Washington in 1775. Cameron explained that replacing pride with humility is necessary to guide America back on track.
Cameron shared his motivation for writing stories for young readers, including his latest novel titled “Pride Comes Before the Fall,” published by Brave Books. The title is derived from a scriptural quote about the consequences of pride and the importance of associating with the humble.
When the modern trans agenda was questioned as the new religion in America, Cameron criticized the public school system, claiming that it has become a church where children are indoctrinated daily. He urged parents to rescue their children from this “corrupt cult” and emphasized the importance of teaching good values.
Cameron argued that the actions of the transgender activist at the White House lacked bravery and disrespectfully undermined the sacrifices made by heroic individuals during World War II. He expressed his belief that true bravery lies in doing the right thing and upholding morality, rather than violating it.
Cameron concluded by suggesting that the understanding of liberty has been misconstrued. He explained that true liberty means having the opportunity to “do what I ought,” acting in a way that honors God and benefits future generations. He called for a return to this understanding of liberty and the abandonment of a “license called freedom.”
