LA Doctor: COVID-19 Patients Go From ‘Very Ill’ to ‘Symptom-Free’ in 8 to 12 Hours Using Hydroxychloroquine and Zinc

At the same time that Democrats are trying to advance the narrative that hydroxychloroquine and zinc does not cure coronavirus a sixth study comes out by an LA doctor, Anthony Cardillo, an ER specialist and the CEO of Mend Urgent Care, has been prescribing the combination of drugs  to patients experiencing severe symptoms and he found that the patients start to recover in 8 to 12 hours.

He credits the combination as the reason. The hydroxychloroquine opens the “zinc door” which allows the zinc to then enter the cells and prevents them from multiplying. He has only given it to the seriously ill and so far every patient has survived. Over 6,000 doctors worldwide have voted hydroxychloroquine as the best treatment for the virus, destroying the narrative that Democrats are trying to sell the voters.

    Cardillo said:

“Every patient I’ve prescribed it to has been very, very ill and within 8 to 12 hours, they were basically symptom-free. So, clinically I am seeing a resolution.”

“We have to be cautious and mindful that we don’t prescribe it for patients who have COVID who are well. It should be reserved for people who are really sick, in the hospital or at home very sick, who need that medication. Otherwise we’re going to blow through our supply for patients that take it regularly for other disease processes.”

    From The Blaze

The U.S. Food and Drug Administration fast-tracked hydroxychloroquine and chloroquine for the treatment of COVID-19 late last month after three separate studies showed the pair of anti-malaria drugs to be a potentially promising remedy against the infectious disease.

President Trump has been optimistic about hydroxychloroquine efficacy against the virus despite warnings from some health officials, including Dr. Anthony Fauci who sits on the White House coronavirus task force, that evidence of its effectiveness is anecdotal.

Trump called the drug a possible “game-changer” at a White House press briefing on March 19, arguing that prescribing the drug is worth a try since it is considered generally safe to use. However, the FDA advises against taking any form of the drug unless it has been prescribed by a doctor.
