Jonathan Lewis, a 17-year-old, tragically passed away on November 1 after being brutally beaten by a large group of bullies several days earlier. The offenders, numbering around fifteen, targeted Lewis purportedly because he had stood up for a smaller friend who had recently been robbed by the group, as stated in a GoFundMe page set up by the bereaved family.

At around 2:05 p.m. on the tragic day, police officers found Lewis lying in the street with significant head injuries and bleeding profusely. He was immediately taken to University Medical Center and put on life support, but despite the best efforts of the hospital’s medical staff, he passed away on Tuesday from his wounds.

Jonathan Lewis’s father shared his grief and asked for the perpetrators’ forgiveness. Lewis told 8NewsNow that his kid is an introvert who wants to go to Austin, Texas, so that he can be with him. The unfortunate event occurred while the adolescent was visiting Las Vegas with his mother.

Lewis said, “Violence just begets more violence, and these children don’t even know what they’re doing half the time.” In light of humanity’s overall failure, he stressed the importance of training young people to get along with one another.

After the tragic child’s death, a video of the attack surfaced online, showing a group of about a dozen teenagers kicking the helpless teen as he lay on the ground. At least two bystanders captured cellphone footage of the violent assault.

According to Lewis, his kid had defended his friend, who was smaller than him, who had been robbed and then humiliated by being put into a garbage can. Lewis said he hoped the donation of Jonathan’s organs could help save the lives of others and praised his bravery.

The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department has opened a murder probe as a result of the event. No pupils have been arrested as of yet, but Lewis has revealed that murder charges would be brought against other kids.

On the day of his son’s death, Lewis and his wife set up a GoFundMe page honoring him with the moving title “Heart of a Champion Our Son.” Lewis also posted a touching photo of himself holding his son’s hand in the hospital. The grieving father vowed to honor Jonathan’s memory by working for global harmony.

Jonathan Lewis, the promising artist and devoted older brother, was eulogized by his father, who said, ‘Although our hearts are broken and this tragedy is totally ludicrous craziness, we want to focus on the legacy of our son. Jonathan was a very compassionate and devoted young man who put others before himself.
