Livia Firth, the former wife of actor Colin Firth, has spoken out with visible emotion after new claims suggested she had relied on her marriage to build influence in the fashion world.

In an emotional response, Livia rejected those accusations, stressing that her career in sustainable fashion was built on her own hard work and long-standing commitment to ethical practices. Fighting back tears, she said she would not allow her reputation to be diminished by what she called unfounded narratives linking her achievements solely to her marriage.

Livia also announced her intention to take legal action against those spreading what she described as defamatory claims, saying she would use every avenue available to defend her name and career.

The comments mark one of her most forceful public statements since her split from Colin Firth and highlight the personal and professional toll that ongoing speculation about their divorce continues to create.
