Tom Emmer, the majority whip in the House, called the DC city council “crazy left-wing nutbags” for voting to repeal MMP.

On Fox News, Minnesota Republican, and House Majority Whip Tom Emmer vowed to “fight” any move by the D.C. Council to grant voting rights to illegal aliens.

On the eve of Thursday’s “District of Columbia day” in the House, Emmer torched the statute that permits nonresidents, including illegal immigrants, to vote in elections in the nation’s capital.

“Really? How many U.S. citizens think a Chinese government worker based in Washington, DC ought to be eligible to vote in the upcoming presidential election? None, ” Here is Emmer’s explanation of his position. What they did as a group was very inappropriate.

In Emmer’s words, the measure “truly eliminates any statutory minimum sentence limits,” leading to the moniker “Democrats’ limitless employment for criminals statute.”

Emmer said, “They are going to eliminate the… mandatory sentence standards for all offenses other than murder, carjacking, and sexual assault.”

He said that what you’re doing is completely insane. House Republicans will probably stand by conservative ideas as they have been traditionally understood.

Due to this and the fact that Congress “is accountable for the District of Columbia,” Rep. Emmer has claimed that “there are two resolutions that will get voted on in the House tomorrow” to repeal the statute.

First, it would stop “these lunatic left-wing nutbags that are legislating this sort of nonsense” and instead “return the mandatory sentence minimums, put law enforcement and peaceful, law-abiding folks back in command of this city.” To add to that, it would “move toward repealing the illegals being able to vote act.”

There will be an “overwhelmingly” wide margin of support for the ideas, according to the House majority whip.

“Immediately forward this to the Senate. It’s reasonable to assume this, considering that the council has previously approved two terrible ordinances and that only two Democrats are needed for passage. And, hey, did you know that… In the event of simultaneous House and Senate approval tomorrow, the bill would be sent to the White House the following day, on Tuesday. This will undoubtedly receive the approval of the president.”

That he did not, as Emmer puts it, “hold criminals responsible and ban illegals from participating in our elections” will “be widely known” to the people.

If President Biden agrees to the idea, then “Congress will have jurisdiction over the D.C. Council,” as stated by Emmer.

Before President Biden’s address on Tuesday, the whip of the House Republicans had strong words for Biden’s handling of the spy balloon issue.

“Ha!” Congressman Emmer was asked if he thought his colleagues appreciated President Biden’s efficiency. Not!

The explanation that “they didn’t know what to do, or that he handed it to someone, and they waited until it fulfilled its mission throughout the United States” has been called “preposterous” by Emmer, who says that Biden “should have taken action immediately” after hearing about the balloon last Wednesday.

Emmer said the people responsible for this catastrophe should be punished in the United States.
