Country singers Maren Morris and Ryan Hurd have decided to divorce after five years of marriage. They both cited “irreconcilable differences” and stated that they’ve been separated since early October. The couple shares a 3-year-old son, and they requested joint custody. Morris mentioned in her court documents that they have accumulated assets and debts during their marriage and have a prenuptial agreement. Morris was most recently seen attending Taylor Swift’s “Eras Tour” movie premiere in Los Angeles, while Hurd has made a name for himself as a successful songwriter in the country music genre. They first met in 2013 when they were both songwriters in Nashville. The couple collaborated on several songs and released a duet titled “Chasing After You” in 2021.
